sonic resistance
In Sonic Resistance, soprano Alessia Park joins forces with six composers from Germany and Korea to transform aspects of Byung-Chul Han’s philosophy into sonic reality. Six musicians will premiere new pieces by Chanhee Lim, Lorenz Lehmann, Junyeoung Park, Nikola Lutz, Junsun Park and Sebastian Bethge. These new compositions create aesthetic spaces that transcend the automatism of the loss of discourse associated with the digital world.
The project aims at a diverse audience ranging from those interested in politics and society to music and media art lovers of all ages. The variety of stylistic elements makes the project accessible to all social classes. The collaboration between the composers' association INO in Seoul, S-K-A-M e.V. in Stuttgart and the Stadtkirche Bad Hersfeld ensures both international and local representation.
Sonic Resistance is an event for anyone seeking to preserve democracy and dialogue in a digital world.
