MADMAP

MadMap is a site-specific research in which YonX explores traces of different times and events that are visibly or subliminally etched into places, making them unique. Similar to the individual, a place has a specific history. Location-based experiences can therefore only arise in situ. Because of this nature, the place as a category has something impractical, inflexible and untransportable about it, which doesn't fit into a time when everything should be possible from anywhere. Only the recognition of this condition enables a touch that has a transformative effect on us and our artistic actions. YonX exposes itself to the touch of the place and documents this process. The result is a multiple audiovisual work of art that is made accessible to the audience in a multimedia performance. In addition to presentations in Stuttgart and Bremen, the project will be documented in a permanent nota space. The nota software is a digital space that almost entirely dispenses with restrictive rules and thus enables very free design - a digital but atypical MadMap of the encounter with the local.
